Friendly, authentic, and english friendly. Walked in after another restaurant plan fell through. They we so welcoming and the food was so good. A great place for great soba.
One of the best if not the best soba here, came back here after 4 years
Cravings satisfied! With more than a 100 years of experience, they've mastered the trick of making exactly firm soba with the perfect fresh clean taste. The ebi tempura, although small but is full of taste. I like their tempura batter very much! Only regret was not ordering more!
Delicious! On the slightly pricier side for a bowl of soba. Servers were very kind and sweet. Would recommend.
Small soba with good taste.
Don't go to this soba restaurant.Noodles have no aroma or taste.Soba soup is salty and has no depth.Tempura is made with inferior materials and miscellaneous work. There are many customers because it is a famous restaurant, but the taste is the lowest.I'm sad if someone from overseas thinks this is Japanese soba. There are other soba restaurants named Yabu, so look for them. This is a typical pattern where delicious restaurants become famous and tasteless.この店が藪を名乗ってはいけない。
Tasty homemade soba noodles in an ultra-traditional shop, just a couple hundred metres from the tourists at the Kaminarimon. Hot soba really warms you up on a cold winter's day.
Very friendly with English menus! The food is delicious as well.
It’s good, but not as good as how it’s talked about.
Second time here and the soba is consistently wonderful. Refreshing and flavorful, it keeps you wanting more! Warm sake here was excellent as well, a good pairing to the meal. Highly attentive staff made the entire dining experience all the more enjoyable. Not a place to be missed!!
Very nice soba! Expect to queue!
One of the more simple yet satisfying soba dishes I've had. Highly recommend.
One of the best noodles I’ve had! Don’t expect it to pack a punch or be full of flavours though, as they serve it in quite a bland soup so you get to have the noodles in it’s purest form and best taste texture.
If you want to try traditional soba , this is the best one .Very good soba and sake .
The soba is well made and so delightful!! Love it 😍
Excellent soba, small restaurant with few tables and tatami. Menu in English. Worth the wait! Reasonable prices.
My very first meal in Japan, and I could not be happier. I was told to visit this neighbourhood restaurant by the staff of the hostel i spent the night at. The place looked fantastic, incredibly quiet and the staff, despite my lack of knowledge about Japanese language, tradition and rules, was incredibly friendly and showed me how to best enjoy my cold soba dish. The texture of the noodles was really good!
Very beautiful artistic hand made Soba noodle.
Friendly and accommodating to our tour group. Tasty food, English menu.
Highly recommended for an authentic soba experience, delivering a level of practiced perfection with great hosts and even better food. Try the tempura soba, always a favourite of mine!
